The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology evaluates children
with known or suspected rheumatic diseases, undiagnosed
musculoskeletal pain, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue
syndrome, chronic pain disorders, fever of unknown origin,
and autoimmune disorders.
Diagnostic and therapeutic services are provided in a
teaching setting. Procedural sedation and analgesia is
employed for most children. A family-centered approach is
emphasized and community-based resources are utilized when
appropriate.
