The Division of Human Genetics offers genetic consultation, clinical evaluation, and counseling for a broad spectrum of genetic disorders and birth defects. These services are provided to affected children and adults, as well as to concerned family members. In addition, specific clinical programs have been established in the areas of hereditary cancer, cystic fibrosis, craniofacial disorders, Lysosomal Diseases Center (Gaucher's disease, Fabry disease and MPS I), hemophilia, muscle diseases, neurogenetic disorders, phenylketonuria, Prader-Willi syndrome, and skeletal dysplasias. The Division also provides cytogenetic services including cancer cytogenetics through its laboratory located at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington.

We also offer a two year fellowship program, and a five year combined Pediatrics/Genetics residency. For more information, please contact our fellowship coordinator, Veronica Tomlinson, at vtomlin@ccmckids.org.
