Overview | Staff | Juvenile IBD Center | IBD Family Council | Make A Gift The Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center was established to provide state-of-the-art care and treatment to improve the lives of children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Jeffrey S. Hyams, M.D., Head, Division of Digestive Diseases, Hepatology and Nutrition directs the Center and is recognized as a pioneer and national leader in the field. The Center has become the largest clinical program for children with IBD in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts and provides patients with access to the very latest clinical therapies including promising novel biologic agents.
