The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides comprehensive
primary and specialty dental care for children. This
includes preventive, restorative, endodontic, periodontic,
and surgical dental treatment in a traditional outpatient
setting and in the operating room under general anesthesia.
The Division also provides consultations and medically
adjunctive dental treatment for inpatients. Significant
expertise is available in the areas of: emergency treatment
of dentofacial trauma, craniofacial and dental anomalies,
dentofacial growth and development, managing behavior for
physically or medically challenged children in the dental
environment, minor orthodontic problems, and public dental
health issues affecting children.
