SchoolNurse.com: "School nursing is different from other nursing jobs. It's usually a pleasure and a privilege. But there's one down side to being a nurse on a school campus: you are isolated from the usual exchanges with the medical community. There are few opportunities to attend seminars and workshops. The literature and Web offerings are so overwhelming it's hard to keep up. School nurses need an easily accessible resource to keep current. We hope this web site will answer some of your needs, and we invite participation from all of you who provide direct health services on a school campus."
