Line | Other ServicesThe Pediatric Advice
Line, better known as "PAL" is an after-hours telephone
triage service provided by a staff of CCMC Registered Nurses
to subscribing area pediatric providers. The service is not
open to the general public. On a contractual basis; PAL
provides after-hours telephone triage for subscribers’
pediatric patients including problem assessment, health care
advice and referral for direct care when indicated. Nurses
provide triage services using standardized pediatric
telephone triage guidelines, and with physician backup.
The Office Triage Seminar is a half-day program offered by
triage nurses of the Pediatric Advice Line to help office
nurses develop their skills and systems to provide effective
telephone advice during office hours.
