What is the Connecticut Children's Medical Center Advocacy Network?
A group of people who are:
- interested in the health and well-being of children and families
- willing to contribute by communicating with state and federal lawmakers about issues that are important to children and families

What does it mean to be a member?
Joining the CCMC Advocacy Network does not require you to do anything, but it does give
us your permission to send you updates on our activities and to contact you when we need
your help. Our requests for help might include asking you to contact your legislators or
participate in an event we are sponsoring.
What are the benefits of joining the CCMC Advocacy Network?
Member of the Advocacy Network receive:
- The CCMC Government Relations newsletter, Speak Up for Kids!, published five times per year
- Information about our legislative priorities including Action Alerts when it is critical for lawmakers to hear from their constituents
- Invitations to CCMC Advocacy Network workshops and events that will help you learn more about legislative advocacy and how you can become a more successful advocate for children
