How Does CCMC Advocate for Kids?

CCMC's Government Relations Department uses two distinct strategies to advocate effectively for kids:

  1. Direct Lobbying entails talking with policy makers about issues that affect kids' health and acting as an expert resource for pediatric health information.
  2. Grassroots Advocacy involves mobilizing people who care about kids' health to influence policy issues that concern them. CCMC's Advocacy Network represents a group of people who care about kids' health and well-being and want to make a difference. Advocates write letters, make phone calls and share information when needed to influence policy making that affects kids.
