“Nursing at Connecticut Children’s
Medical Center creates an environment that promotes, supports and
inspires excellence in clinical practice and professional development.”
The vision statement for Nursing at Connecticut
Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) serves as the
cornerstone of our annual national conference. One of our five core values is that
of Discovery- we are always trying to learn and research best practices to assure our
patients and families receive the best care.
We have chosen to keep our theme “Pediatric Nursing: Changing Culture and
Practice” the same this year because we want to continue to highlight that pediatric
nursing is a dynamic, ever-evolving profession. We want to support the discovery of
new knowledge and share best practices that we have learned through both didactic
learning and poster presentations. This year we are thrilled to offer Simulation
Training for various scenarios that will meet the needs of all pediatric nurses.
I look forward to meeting you in the fall!
