FOURTH ANNUAL 102.9 DRC-FM RADIOTHON BENEFITING CONNECTICUT CHILDREN’S MEDICAL CENTER TAKES PLACE LABOR DAY WEEKEND

HARTFORD, Conn.— The fourth annual 102.9 DRC-FM 2006 Internationally Award Winning Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon benefiting Connecticut Children’s Medical Center hits the airwaves this coming Labor Day weekend.

The radiothon takes place from 6 am to 7 pm, Thursday, Aug. 31 through Saturday, Sept. 2. The station’s radio personalities including John “Cadillac” Saville and Beth Bradley from the 102.9 DRC-FM Morning Show will broadcast live from the medical center’s cafeteria.

Last year’s radiothon raised a record $162,000 which supports state-of-the-art care and research programs at CCMC. Included on the radiothon are dozens of heartwarming and inspirational interviews with patients, families and staff of the medical center.
