Ceremony Rededicates Chapel

CCMC, -- A blessing by chaplain Father Charles Jacobs and a ribbon cutting ceremony rededicated the new Alice Murray and Charles Heilig Chapel Wednesday, January 5.

The new chapel donated by the Heilig Family was completed as part of the Make Room for Kids project that expanded the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit by 50% with 6 new PICU beds, and new Family Sleep Rooms, Family Waiting Room and the new Chapel. Mr. Heilig is pictured with his daughter, Cheryl, at the entrance to the chapel that features dichroic glass images created by Hartford glass artist Dennis Peabody.
