Overview | Staff | Central CT Cystic Fibrosis Center
The Pulmonary Division provides care for children of all ages with asthma, apnea, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cystic fibrosis, airway abnormalities, neuromuscular disease, sleep disorders, and chronic respiratory failure. The Division oversees a state-of-the-art pulmonary function laboratory that is capable of performing spirometry, body plethysmography, methacholine challenge, cardiorespiratory adaptation and exercise provocation testing in children, and infant pulmonary function testing with passive mechanics and lung volumes. Flexible bronchoscopies are done to evaluate children for dynamic airway narrowing, chronic aspiration, and lower respiratory infections. Sweat tests and allergy skin testing may also be ordered by contacting the Division.
We also offer a three year accredited fellowship program. For
