Connecticut Children’s Kidsline is a first-level telephone referral service to link the public to the physicians, programs, and services of CCMC. Referral specialists of Kidsline are prepared to help the caller contact the department which best meets his/her needs. People may contact Kidsline by calling 1.800.243.1552, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; voice mail receives after-hours messages.

Examples of questions that are appropriate for Kidsline are:

• "Our family doctor says that my child may have more than just a heart murmur. Does your hospital have any specialists in children’s heart problems?"
• "We just moved here from the midwest. Can you please help me find a pediatrician in this area?"
• "My daughter’s teacher thinks she may have a learning disability. What kinds of services does Connecticut Children’s Medical Center have for that problem?"
