Why is follow-up important?

  • The clinic appointments are important for asthma control.

Going Back to School

  • If the child's asthma is under good control, then the child should go to school.
  • If the child cannot go to school, then the family should call the doctor.
  • Check to see if the child needs medicines at school.
  • Does the school have the medicines? If not, notify the primary care provider.
