We have taken great care to compile all the information you may need about services available to you and your child. Every member of our staff is a specialist in children’s health. As the only independent freestanding children’s hospital in Connecticut, we have a complete range of pediatric specialties. As a teaching hospital, our staff is at the forefront of the latest technology and training on children’s health issues. We recognize that each child is a unique individual. We strive at all times to understand your child’s needs and all the things that make your child special. As parents, you have an important role to play as your child’s advocate. You are a member of your child’s healthcare team. We will consult with you on all decisions regarding your child’s care and you may be present during most procedures and treatments. We think being able to “room in” with your child is a special part of the hospital experience, so make yourself comfortable because we want you to feel “at home” here.
